Our ninth major Springwood Festival, "Springwood Australia Day Festival 2018", gives local and regional organisations and businesses a chance to show the diversity that makes up our community by taking a stall on the day.
The event is held at Springwood Public School, in the playground area and runs from 10.00 am till 4.00pm . We have music on 2 stages operating non-stop with well known local bands, singers and dancers etc,
We have a BBQ and Bar with alcohol sold. We have rides, castles, pony rides and facepainting for the kids. Raffle drawn at the end.
Our local RuralFire Brigades will be there with their Fire Trucks and information displays as will our SES heroes.

If you are involved in a local community group, run a local business, make amazing food or make beautiful things, then book a stall and show or sell what you do. With hundreds of people coming through the site all day encouraged by our posters and banners throughout the area, and strongly supported by the school community, there is a constant flow of customers.
Stallholders who have supported us in the past or are local Blue Mountains or nearby areas will be given our $20 preferred stallholder discount. Please give details in the application form "notes" section.

Single Market Stalls are $85 4m x 4m Double stalls $125 8m x 4m unpowered.
Single Food Stalls are $150 unpowered
We may supply power for $30 extra for Food Stalls only or you may wish to use your own generator.We are not able to supply power to the market stall areas.
We give a $20 discount for returning stallholders and for LOCAL stallholders.

Springwood Australia Day Festival
Lower Mountains Fundraising Events Inc.
We are a registered non-profit organisation raising money for local participating Rural Fire Services at our last event. At oiur previous events Valley Heights, Winmalee and Faulconbridge Brigades have attended with several fire trucks and displays, manned the BBQ and helped with staffing..
It is being held in the grounds of Springwood Public School thanks to the support of the Principal and Staff.
We have 2 stages, BBQ, many local bands, local dance groups, rides for the kids, raffles,market stalls, food stalls and as it was well attended last time even 'though it rained, we expect even bigger crowds next time around. The event will be well promoted as we have new committee members with expertise and enthusiasm in this area. We will also have posters, banners and flyers out everywhere and local media coverage.

Below is the info you may need.
The venue is Springwood Public School playground, gates on De Chair Ave, off Macquarie Rd, Springwood.
The day opens at 10.00am and you may trade until sunset. There is only limited flood lighting available after sunset. You may access the site from 8.00am and you may park your vehicles behind your stall, out of sight please. Vehicle entry is closed at 10.am.
The site is unpowered (except for food stalls) , without tables or canopies that you will need to supply yourself.
We will try to avoid too many stalls with similar products for sale but cannot guarantee any stallholder a complete monopoly of their items for sale. We hope for as wide a range of stalls as possible but are limited to who applies.
The fee is $85 for a single unpowered site 4mx4m Double site is $125 8m x 4m
The fee is $150 for a Food Stall site.
Power $30 extra for Food Stalls Only (or supply your own generator)
We reserve the right for canned soft drink sales only from our BBQ and Bar.

As this is a fundraiser, we would appreciate an additional % donation from your stall if you have a successful day's trading.
In the event of cancellation due to unforseen circumstances or act of god no reschedulling is possible and no refunds will be made.
We will send payment details, by Paypal invoice only after receipt of your PLU certificate. Your stall will only be processed upon receipt of PLI currency certificate.
